HOW IT WORKS?

STEP 01

List Your Current Rental House & Join Rentees

  • List quickly in < 2 min

  • Choose Visiting-On if ready for house visits

  • Opt for Visiting-Off if not yet ready for visits

  • You get access to rentee-listings as well as owner-listings

Don’t Worry:

  • We make sure you secure a new rental house first. Only after that, your current rental house will be made available to fellow rentees - otherwise it won’t be

  • You’re free to remove your listing whenever you wan

STEP 02

Visit Houses

  • Start searching for homes

  • Shortlist homes you’d like to visit

  • Get the address and visit time

  • Visit — just follow visiting guidelines

Visiting Guidelines –

    Rentee-2-Rentee:
  • You can visit rentee-listed houses and in return fellow rentees will also visit your listed house

    Your Availability:
  • Take out just 10 min in a week - 10 min on Saturday or 10 min on Sunday etc.

  • Allow fellow rentees to visit your listed house during these 10 min. No visits are permitted outside this time frame

  • You can change you availability as per your convenience

  • If visits on your listed house occur for 2 weeks, you will dedicate 20 min (10 X 2) only. In return, you can also visit your shortlisted houses

    Visit Time:
  • You will get visit time for your shortlisted houses. You also visit during that time frame only

  • No calls or messages between rentees

    Show Your ID Card:
  • All rentees are verified. Show your ID card during the house visits

STEP 03

Negotiate & Grab the Deal

Negotiation Process:
  • Select your favorite house for booking

  • Ask Monk & Bear to negotiate for you

  • We’ll handle the rent, deposit and terms directly with the owner

  • Rentee of the house you want to book should have found a new home for himself. Otherwise, we need to wait till he finds one or you can move on and select another house

Grab the Deal:
  • Happy with the deal? Go ahead and book it

  • Pay a small service fee of ₹2499 + GST

  • We’ll help you create the rental agreement

I have not yet informed owner? How can i list?

Many rentees wanting to participate in the process but have this questions. Based on the feedback from rentees, we came up with visiting-off option.

Visitin-Off: Your address is hidden. You can access rentee-listings and owner-listings without visits.

Once you are sure about changing house, once you inform your owner you can switch to visiting-on.

Visiting-On: As you have informed your owner, you can start visits now.

When shall I pay deposit to owners?

After the rent agreement has been established, you can pay deposit to the owner.

At the time of booking you pay small token amount agreed with the owner
